A little late in the game to start a blog but we still have around 3 months to go.
We finally got the "OK" on our permits to proceed at the end of September, and already we have been able to get the excavation on the site going. Concrete forms, slab, timber frame, and structural framing.
Our subtrades have been working one right after the next. It sure is nice to have complete control over the build now, so we can plan and execute each building stage so efficiently.
Here are some of the highlights...
Unusual cold weather, but the cedar shadowline siding is being installed today.
Lee and Jay are starting the exterior brickwork
Our Excavation site prep crew have been working on the sewer, sanitation, connections, catch basins, grading
...and some pictures from the start of the project
All precut and prefit douglas fir tier frame pot and beam components were installed in on day!
The concrete footings, slab were poured
Geothermal lines have been dug, installed, and buried
Demolition of old building
